Okenkideska!
I felt I was in Narita, Tokyo and having Nippon Sushi, ramen, chicken fries with Sapporo beer ! Highly recommend. Server Tara and a guy were nice. Arigato!
Was starving & ordered up a salmon poke bowl to eat in their pleasant outdoors seating area. The poke bowl had a few really nice touches to make it even better than expected, & was really enjoyable eating outdoors. Great job, Oramen!
The service here was great. We were seated right away. The outdoor area is also cute and heated. The ramen is just okay. I had the spicy miso. The broth was not as rich as I tend to enjoy. The bao buns are very good. We had the soft shell crab, the duck and the chicken. We ended the meal with the shrimp and pork shumai which was also quite nice. The beer and sake selection is fairly priced. It’s a nice place for a big group also. I don’t imagine it gets too loud here.
Went to Oramen for lunch couple of weeks ago. It’s a nice restaurant, very cozy inside with a nice big bar. There’s a shack style outdoor sitting area. Best part, it doesn’t get crazy busy during lunch time.
Their menu is huge, with all sort of Japanese dishes and drinks. We got to try the ramen, takoyaki, and my favorite chicken katsu curry. All of the dishes were delicious. The katsu curry is amazing, not spicy but has a hint of kick. The chicken cutlet was moist, not overcooked. Excellent ramen noodles and soup.
The service is nice, plenty of servers sharing and taking care of all tables. Since our last visit, we have been there again for lunch.
Tonkotsu ramen was great! The pork was nice and tender, and the broth had a great, rich flavor. This was the only thing I had and it was quite filling; the menu has plenty of other Japanese dishes as well. Price ($17) was reasonable for the area. The place was moderately busy even at 2:30pm, but the food still came quickly and service was great. Although this was my first time trying Oramen, I’d definitely return!
A good ramen place with cool neon interior decors. In addition to ramen, they also have a wide selection of other Asian fusion entrees and appetizers. Staff are friendly and they give you the best advice on pairing drinks. My favorite drinks are the Yuzu beer and Match IPA.
The food was good, but the service was terrible. Last night, my friends and I sat at the table closest to the computer. We were all very hungry, so it took us almost ten minutes to finish our meal. Then my friends and I paid the bill and we wanted to sit and talk, and then a waiter came to our table and told us in a very rude manner that we had to leave in five minutes because there were customers waiting outside. This was understandable at first, but his attitude was so bad that it seemed like he was trying to expel us, so we ignored him and we both wanted to talk for a while before we left. When the waiter came to our table again and urged us to leave (with a worse attitude than before), we told him that we might order something later (because my friend told me that she wanted to drink), and the waiter threw a menu in front of us and said in a very strong voice, "Go ahead. Take your order now, "as if forcing us to order, which is really the first time I've ever experienced this. At the time, my friends and I were very shocked, I had never met such a waiter. We were very angry and asked to see their manager several times, only to be told by the waitress who kept harassing us that he was the manager, but the most ridiculous thing was that another waitress came forward and told us that "we don't have a manager". I can't understand who is running this store. I have never seen such a bad waiter. What was most incomprehensible was that when we finally left, the sarcastic waiter continued to verbally attack us and told us not to come back. Of course I won't come back.
This restaurant is still delicious.
I visited again just yesterday and it's the first time I've gone since before the pandemic. I absolutely missed it here.
They are no longer checking vaccination cards. I had taken mines out to show it to the host and she quickly told me they no longer required it.
This visit I decided to try something different. I normally get the ramen noodle soup which is really good. I ordered the peach cocktail, very delicious and refreshing. I really recommend it. I got the shrimp steam bun. It is so good. The shrimp are about medium to large sized. The lightly bread them and sauce them with some spicy mayo, I think. Either way, I should have gotten two. Lastly, I ordered the crispy rice topped with spicy salmon. That was so good. I would certainly order that again. My friend ordered the tofu over white rice. She loved her dish.
The service in here is really good. I can't complain. The restaurant was not packed. There were a few tables available, so it wasn't overcrowded.
I will be back soon.
